NFL Week 2 is underway, featuring high-stakes divisional rivalries and teams looking to bounce back from tough season-opening results. Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals travel to meet C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. The Bengals look to capitalise on momentum after a Week 1 win over Tampa Bay, while Houston's defense aims to put the clamps on Cincinnati's explosive passing attacks. Elsewhere, in Denver, rookie Bo Nix faces Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Denver looks to clean up a sloppy, missed-tackle Week 1 performance against the Chiefs, while the Jaguars try to extend their dominance after shellacking Cleveland. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers head to Foxborough to play Drake Maye and the New England Patriots, with both offenses desperate to establish consistency.

After years of disappointment, Sevilla have started strongly in the new La Liga campaign, taking 13 points from their first six games to sit fourth in the table. They have the joint-best defensive record in the division too but an incredibly tough assignment awaits as they host Barcelona, who have been in unstoppable form to start the new Spanish season. Hansi Flick’s men have scored 28 goals in six league games following their 7-2 demolition of Santander on Wednesday night and their first Champions League outing saw them beat Feyenoord 5-1.

Bündesliga 26/27 Matchday 4 Betting Picks I Das Bündesliga Show
It would be a major shock if Bayern Munich didn’t beat struggling Union Berlin comfortably in Friday night’s Bundesliga clash at Allianz Arena. Vincent Kompany’s side have been a bit off their best in the opening weeks of the campaign, which is perhaps understandable after a World Cup summer. Elsewhere, Stuttgart welcome Borussia Dortmund to the MHPArena for what should be one of the weekend’s most entertaining Bundesliga fixtures. Dortmund have made a perfect start, winning all three league matches and scoring three times in each of their last three games across all competitions. The developing partnership between Serhou Guirassy and Fabio Silva gives BVB enormous attacking quality, but they have looked vulnerable defensively when opponents have matched their intensity—conceding twice against both Hoffenheim and Villarreal. Stuttgart have lost two of their opening three league matches, although a schedule featuring Bayern and Hoffenheim away has contributed to that slow start. They have still scored in every competitive game this season, average around 1.7 xG per Bundesliga match and recently produced four goals against Köln at the MHPArena. With Stuttgart likely to attack aggressively in front of their own supporters and Dortmund carrying several threats in transition, this has the ingredients for an open, high-scoring contest.

Arsenal and Manchester City will look to take their 100% starts into the international break. Arsenal certainly have the more difficult assignment, when they travel to Brighton on Saturday. The Seagulls are fifth ahead of matchday five, having claimed seven points from four games. Fabian Hurzeler has also guided his team to two wins in the Conference League and a 3-2 victory over Manchester United in the EFL Cup. Brighton have only fallen short against Chelsea after a 4-3 defeat, but that will give the Gunners plenty of confidence that they can punish them for their mistakes at the back. Arsenal are the best in the division, though, at suffocating teams and forcing them into errors and they have everything they need to make it eight wins in succession.The Gunners won both meetings between the two clubs last season and they look a level above the rest of the field at the moment.

An increased fixture list always looked like Manchester United’s biggest hurdle this season, and they followed up their Champions League return with a 0-1 home defeat to Manchester City. Despite United's poor performance against 10-men, it's the shocking VAR decision to award Erling Haaland's goal that has rightfully stolen the headlines. Billi gives his take on the situation, before moving onto the game against Brighton. It's fair to say that the momentum that Michael Carrick enjoyed as interim boss has deserted him, and now he has tough decisions to make in this Carabao Cup tie.While United will want to bounce back from their derby defeat, Carrick has to consider some rotation ahead of Sunday’s visit to Fulham. The Red Devils have won just one of their first four Premier League games so far, and any changes will make them look even more vulnerable against a strong Brighton side.

Red Devils manager Michael Carrick became an instant hero when leading United to a 2-0 derby-day victory in his first game after taking over from Ruben Amorim last term but City’s bright start to the campaign suggests they may have to work harder for three points this time. Enzo Maresca faces a tougher task replacing his predecessor, the legendary Pep Guardiola, than Carrick did coming in for the much-maligned Amorim, but he has certainly made a strong start to that near-impossible mission, with the Citizens a perfect three wins from three in the Premier League.

The Premier League season is in full swing, and several intriguing storylines have already been created. Any question marks over if Arsenal could back up their title-winning campaign from last season, have been all but put to bed, by the dominance which the Gunners have exerted early doors. Mikel Arteta’s men have beaten Manchester City, Coventry, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Napoli by an aggregate score of 10-1. The Champions travel to Sunderland tomorrow, a side who have only won one of their last 29 Premier League meetings against them (a 1-0 win back in 2009). More recently, Arsenal have put 16 past the Black Cats in the last five meetings between the pair and they have won four of those.
